I just finished reading all the books that I know of that are in this series, which is 7 total, and I loved them!! Artemis Fowl is a criminal mastermind, and he's only, like, 12!  During one of his schemes, Artemis captures a fairy, or to be more specific, a LEP recon (Leprechaun, get it?) officer, the only female officer in the whole underground fairy world.  A kidnapped fairy is no joke, and Artemis Fowl is the most wanted criminal in fairyland, which is all high-tech and top secret, not sugar plumbs and candy land.  Going up against the best officers in the LEP, Artemis proves just how smart he is.  He demands a lot of fairy gold as a ransom, and is put under attack as soon as the fairies send the gold in.  Not really feeling very threatened, Artemis boasts that he knows how to survive the high-powered explosion the fairies want to send at Fowl Manor.  Boasts or not, Artemis compromises and sends out the fairy gold with the fairy he kidnapped, who's name...

Hey, sorry it's been so long since I've put up a new post!! The last book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is titled The Last Olympian.   Percy Jackson and the camp on Half-Blood Hill have been preparing for a gigantic battle against the Titan lord, Kronos, who's army is stronger than ever.  Meanwhile, the gods of Mount Olympus are busy battling a monster called Typhon who is destroying everything in his path on the journey to New York City, where the modern Mount Olympus sits unguarded on top of the Empire State Building.  With the gods away it's up to Percy Jackson and friends to protect Mount Olympus from Kronos and his army.  Percy takes charge of all the demigods at Camp Half-Blood and sets up a battle plan to guard Manhattan, but it's going to be tricky.  The Ares campers are out of the fight, and without the support of the half-blood children of the Greek god of war, how are they supposed to win?  They have just enough campers to block ...
