The House of Hades by Rick Riordan

Leo, Hazel, Jason, Piper, Frank, and Nico are sailing the Argo II, trying to reach the Doors of Death in Epirus, Greece.  Meanwhile, Percy and Annabeth are struggling through Tartarus, trying to get to the Doors of Death on their side. The crew on the Argo II have many challenges to face, new enemies and old.  Hazel runs into the goddess Hecate, but Hecate might be fighting for Gaea.  Nico and Jason face Cupid, leaving one of Nico's biggest secrets in the open.  Frank takes a step in the direction of his father, changing him for the better or worse.  Leo, Jason, and Piper face an old enemy, which leads to Leo facing a harder challenge than he ever imagined. OOPS!!  I'm going out of town this weekend and won't have wi-fi, so there goes my Saturday update!  I swear, every time I decide on a day to update, I'm suddenly unable to update for three straight weeks!!  Sorry guys.  But I'll be back on Monday, so I will get it up then.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Fan-girling like Crazy

First, I'd like to thank everyone who voted and commented.  In case you were interested, To Kill a Mockingbird won, so I'll be reading that book once I get it from the library. Second, I'd like to apologize for not blogging the last two Saturdays.  I had dance things.  Sorry!  But I will for sure blog this Saturday. Third, just so it's clear to everyone I'm going to define the title.  More specifically, fangirling. To fangirl is to adore something.  I fan-girl over books, chocolate, and One Direction.  Lots of people fangirl over Nutella.  But fan-girling is more than just liking something.  You also have to mention it at least once in daily conversation. Ex: "Oh my gosh, we were working on our project and all I could think about was Nutella.  I love it so much!  I NEED Nutella or I think I'll die." In fan-girling, you also get "the feels" about whatever it is you fangirl over. Ex: "You got me a whole jar of Nutella
