A Quick Review

Hi!  I went to the library recently, and after blogging about a few of my favorite books I got, I decided to do a quick review of the leftovers!  They are still great books of course, just a little different from what I usually read. Life After Theft by Aprilynne Pike Kimberlee Schaffer died last year.  According to the gossip around Jeff's new school, Kimberlee was a total mean girl.  Something no one except Jeff knows though, is that Kimberlee was also a kleptomaniac.  How could he know this if he was new to the school?  Kimberlee told him.  That's right.  Kimberlee Schaffer is a ghost, and she thinks it is because of all her unfinished business, a.k.a. the hundreds of boxes full of stuff she stole.  Because Jeff is the only one who can see her, she enlists his help to getting her to the afterlife.  Which means Jeff needs to return everything she stole.  Unfortunately for Jeff, it's harder for him to bring things back than it was for Kimberlee to steal the  in the fir

Author: Maggie Stiefvater

Maggie Stiefvater has written many amazing books, filled with adventure, magic, and awe.  Her works, most of which I've read, include The Shiver Trilogy, the Raven Cycle (a series of four books featuring Blue Sargent and the Raven Boys), The Books of Faerie (which so far consist of Lament and Ballad and will feature Requiem soon), and book two of the Spirit Animals series, which is written by various authors. While the magic in the stories draw you in, the characters really capture your attention.  None of these books are your typical, cliche novels.  Maggie Stiefvater opens the door to the unexpected and welcomes you in. I reviewed three of Maggie Stiefvater's books The Raven Boys The Dream Thieves and Shiver For a full description of all Maggie Stiefvater's books, click  here .  Maggie also interacts with her fans often on her  blog .
