Four Weddings and a Swamp Boat Tour by Erin Nicholas

Image
Thank you so Social Butterfly PR and Erin Nicholas for providing me with an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!  Review is below, and as always, you can find it on my Goodreads profile as well. Confession time: I started this series at the wrong end. This is the first Boys of the Bayou book I’ve read, but it will not be the last.  Four Weddings and a Swamp Boat Tour picks up the story of Mitch and Paige two weeks after they’ve met. Paige decides she needs to get away from her overbearing family and the five proposals she’s received in her small Iowa hometown. To do so, she ventures down to Louisiana to stay with Mitch, a man with whom she had a weekend fling and then promised to attend their mutual friend’s wedding... which is still three weeks away. And she’s thinking of staying longer. The problem is that Mitch is more than ready to become the sixth proposal she’s received, and Paige has sworn off dating and commitments. Halftime Husband by Erin McCarthy

A couple of weeks ago I participated in the cover reveal for Erin McCarthy's new release, Halftime Husband.   Today, I'm back with a review for the blog tour!  Thank you as always to Social Butterfly PR and Erin McCarthy for an advance copy of the book to read and review. Below is my honest review, which as always can also be found on Goodreads .  Dakota and Brandon ran into each other (literally) twice in a row, and each time thought they’d never see each other again. However, third time is the charm for this couple as another encounter leads to Dakota nannying for Brandon’s two daughters. This is a stroke of luck for Dakota and Brandon, and they’re able to carry on a tryst for quite some time... but as their self-imposed deadline creeps closer, will either of them admit to wanting more? This book was a cute and quick read!   Dakota and Brandon’s relationship is almost fairytale like from their first meeting to second chance encounter - and then it gets hot. However, with the

Love in Moments by Scarlett Cole

Thank you to Social Butterfly PR and Scarlett Cole for sending me an ARC of this book to read and review! Below is my honest review, which you can also find on my Goodreads : I love that from the very start, there’s a connection between these two characters.  Instead of a buildup where we know each character before we know them together, they’re in the same space right off the bat. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, at least temporarily, and after one hot (and I mean hot) night, the couple splits.  Anders is focused on his career and reaching his goals; he aims for the team and the respect he is worth.  In order to do that, he doesn’t have time for many other things.  In short, his character is always looking to what’s next, what’s in the future, and how to get there. Determined for sure, Anders is a direct contrast to the the other main character, Olivia. She is dealing with a lot of set backs after her family’s distillery got some bad press, and the death of her father
