Sealed with a Kiss by Erin Nicholas

Thank you to Social Butterfly PR and Erin Nicholas for sending me a copy of this book to read and review!  I am in love with this series and was so excited for this newest release.

Below are my honest thoughts, which can also be found on my Goodreads.  Add me on Goodreads for a first look at all my reviews!

Naomi and Donovan are the stars of the newest Boys of the Bayou Gone Wild series, and these two shine bright. Child sitcom star Naomi LeClaire has gone and quietly fallen in love with daring animal rescuer and TV show sensation Donovan Foster.  Little does she know, Donovan is halfway in love with her too… but he never stays in one place too long and has a job offer in the Galápagos Islands tempting him away. When a kiss between these two goes viral, the chance for a TV show in Autre starring Naomi and Donovan is a chance to keep him in Louisiana… and her life. But is Naomi really willing to do what it takes?  And is Donovan willing to settle down?

One of the things I enjoyed about this book is that the buildup to their relationship happens in earlier books in the series, back when these two were just side characters in their friends’ romances.  So when we start Sealed With a Kiss, we know Naomi is in love with Donovan already. And we know he feels the same. Instead of building up the romance, Erin Nicholas dives right into building their relationship and the questions that come along with it.

Naomi is a planner, quiet (compared to the Landry’s anyway) and private about her life. On the other hand, Donovan puts it all out there regularly, whether it was for his TV show or just to rescue an animal in danger. Where he shows up with bloody scrapes from a daring rescue, Naomi stands by with bandaids on hand. I like this balance between them and how it translates into their relationship. More than that, I like how they begin to take on the opposite roles - Naomi with the daring stunts and Donovan worrying for her safety. These two are adorable.

Opposites attract very strongly in Erin Nicholas’ world, and each couple seems to smooth out the rough edges of their partner and open up new possibilities into their lives. I adore the way this plays out for Naomi and Donovan and am excited for glimpses of the continuation of their story in future books of the series!

What’s a girl to do when her celebrity crush needs her to be his fake girlfriend?

Sealed With a Kiss, an all-new romantic comedy filled with heated chemistry from New York Times bestselling author Erin Nicholas is available now!

Keep her damned feelings to herself, of course.

Child TV star turned adult wallflower Naomi LeClaire has vowed never to return to the spotlight.

But when she’s stuck in a storm with Donovan Foster, the hot, charming, wild-life rescuing internet sensation, and she finally gives in and kisses him...and a few articles of clothing end up on the floor...suddenly her simple, quiet life is tossed upside down.

Especially after the paparazzi catches a heat-of-the-moment kiss. Now everyone assumes she's his girlfriend and, when she realizes that’s the best way to keep Donovan out of trouble, Naomi agrees to play along. Even though it puts her center stage with her private life in very public view. Again.

They’re a whirlwind of opposites-attract chemistry the fans love, but they'll surely blow over faster than a Gulf Coast hurricane. As long as they can keep straight what's real and what's just a once-in-a-lifetime fantasy.
