Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Book 5

Hey, sorry it's been so long since I've put up a new post!!
The last book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is titled The Last Olympian.  Percy Jackson and the camp on Half-Blood Hill have been preparing for a gigantic battle against the Titan lord, Kronos, who's army is stronger than ever.  Meanwhile, the gods of Mount Olympus are busy battling a monster called Typhon who is destroying everything in his path on the journey to New York City, where the modern Mount Olympus sits unguarded on top of the Empire State Building.  With the gods away it's up to Percy Jackson and friends to protect Mount Olympus from Kronos and his army.  Percy takes charge of all the demigods at Camp Half-Blood and sets up a battle plan to guard Manhattan, but it's going to be tricky.  The Ares campers are out of the fight, and without the support of the half-blood children of the Greek god of war, how are they supposed to win?  They have just enough campers to block off all the entrances to the city.... except one.  That's when Percy's friend Thalia comes on the scene with the Hunters of Artemis.  Now there's just one more, well one more urgent problem, the rivers.   Luckily Percy has this covered thanks to a gift from his dad Poseidon, which was given to him on his last birthday.  So now everything's taken care of, except Olympus itself.  So the battle begins, and it doesn't start off well.  The demigods' defenses are always attacked where they are the weakest.  Percy has a spy in the camp and he can't do anything about it.  Plus, giant flying pigs, a drakon that can only be killed by an absent daughter of Ares, and one of Percy's mortal friends who can tell the future, all add to the chaos.  How are the demigods supposed to defeat a Titan, while almost all the gods are battling something that resembles a storm, and Poseidon is fighting for his kingdom undersea?  Percy has a plan, but it involves him almost getting blasted to pieces, giving Hope to the goddess of the hearth, and taking on Kronos, who is in the body of one of his old friends.  Wow, this is gonna be fun.  Read the book to find out what happens next!!  :)
