The story of Lemonade Mouth continues!! I was really, really happy when I saw that there was a sequel book to Lemonade Mouth. Lemonade Mouth Puckers Up by Mark Peter Hughes is the continuing story of Lemonade Mouth. Now, Lemonade Mouth is on summer vacation and although the band had some plans, they took backstage to performing. After a special performance, Lemonade Mouth is approached by a scout for a famous record company and is told to call. Once Stella calls and schedules an appointment, Lemonade Mouth is on their way to the big leagues. The band tells the story of how they got a record deal with a big time name, how they went onto a popular TV show and made a difference, and how they weren't afraid to stand up for what they believe, even if it means losing something big. Mo's old friend from India, Rajeev, comes and visits and Mo is afraid her parents are trying to arrange a marriage between the two, even though they are only fifteen. Charlie is trying to find something important, but he isn't sure exactly what it is. Wen is working with Scott this summer, helping his dad follow his dreams. But still, Scott? Stella is, as usual, being herself and proud of it. But when she meets Rajeev, is Stella gonna be in for a big surprise? Olivia has some big problems of her own. Her mom, who vanished years ago, the one Olivia wasn't sure was still alive, sent her a letter. And Olivia isn't sure exactly what to do, especially when her grandma tells her that she knew where her mom was. Lemonade Mouth gets several huge opportunities, but how many decisions can someone make for you before you begin to disagree? Can the band make it through the summer?
