Blue Sargent comes from a family of psychics, and every single one of them has told her that true love's kiss will kill her true love. Except for the first time ever, Blue saw someone on the corpse road, and since she doesn't possess the psychic ability that runs through her family, only the ability to "amplify" readings, that can mean only one of two things: that person is her true love, or she's the one who killed him. In Blue's case, chances are it's both.
One day she meets a group of Raven Boys - Gansey, Adam, Ronan, and Noah - who don't quite fit her definition of Raven Boys, and she recognizes the face she saw on the corpse road. When their next encounter happens to be at a psychic reading done by Blue's mother, their fates become forever intertwined.
Like the three other Raven Boys, Blue becomes sucked into Gansey quest to find Glendower, an ancient Welsh ruler. With her ability to amplify the supernatural, Gansey's chances become a lot more real. But as the search continues, secrets come out and sacrifices are required.
With this particular group of Raven Boys, you never know what you're going to get.
