New Books! I can't wait!

Well, I had a whole bunch of Halloween-ish books that I was going to blog about, but I completely forgot!  Sorry!  So I guess I will tell you about all the recently released or soon to be released books that I want to read/am reading/read.

Book #1:  The Maelstrom by Henry H. Neff  (Released Oct. 23, 2012)
I haven't said anything about these books yet, but The Maelstrom is the fourth book in the Tapestry series.  In my opinion, this series is a little bit of Harry Potter, a little bit of Percy Jackson, and a whole lot of awesome!!  The main character of the series is Max McDaniels.  Max is visiting a museum one day and finds an alcove that wasn't there before.  Inside is a Celtic tapestry.  As Max watches, the pictures on the tapestry start moving.  A couple days later, he gets a visit from a scout who is checking to see if Max has the potential to attend Rowan Academy.  He has amazing abilities that he never knew about and they are going to get put to the test when Max arrives at Rowan and discovers something weird going on.  In the first three books, we join Max on his quests (some unauthorized), to try and stop Astaroth, he villain in these thrilling tales.  I haven't read the Maelstrom yet, but I can't wait until I can finally continue the story!!  See more about the Tapestry books at http://www.henryhneff.com/user/series/

Book #2:  Wish You Were Eyre by Heather Vogel Frederick  (Released Oct. 23, 2012)
I was sooo happy when I finally got to read this book!!  In case you didn't recognize the author's name, this is the sixth (and last) book in the Mother-Daughter Book Club series.  Aaahhh!!  :(
Luckily, this is an amazing book and Heather wraps things up pretty nicely.  In this book the Mother-Daughter book club is reading Jane Eyre, and amazingly, Cassidy likes this book.  This book has a lot of trips to keep track of.  Megan is going to Paris with Gigi, Becca is going to Minnesota (YAY!), Cassidy has a really important hockey game, Jess is nervous about MadriGals, and Emma and Stewart are helping Mrs. Wong run for mayor.  Plus, as an extra treat, the girls from the Wyoming book club (MDBC book 3) are coming to visit!  Oh, I think I'm forgetting someone.  Sophie Fairfax has come to stay with Megan and her family on an exchange student program.  Yeah, Sophie Fairfax as in Stinkerbelle's cousin.  Yikes.  Megan is sure her life is ruined and Cassidy is ready to help her get revenge.  Sophie is also helping with Mrs. Wong's campaign and flirts a lot with Stewart, much to Emma's dismay.  Jess wants to give her a chance, but Sophie's looks don't effect Darcy, plus Jess is considered the nice girl, so her vote is kinda overruled.  The big prank is planned and set into motion.  Meanwhile, Becca is searching for her own Mr.  Rochester, and Cassidy is having some boy trouble. After Megan and Gigi's trip to Paris where they meet Sophie's grandfather, Gigi has a big surprise for Megan and her family.  And Sophie is part of it.  Uh-oh.  Did the book club girls make a big mistake?  Find out in Wish You Were Eyre!

Book #3:  The Drifting by L. Filloon  (To be released Nov. 9, 2012)
There isn't much I can really tell you about this book since it's not released yet.  The Drifting is the sequel to The Binding.  On her blog, L. Filloon has been posting some teasers and now I really can't wait for the book to come out.  If you've read the Binding (which is an amazing book) then you might be like me, checking her blog every day for new teasers or more info about the book.  Aaahhh!!  I'm so excited!!  Only a couple more days!!  http://lfilloon.blogspot.com/

Well, that's all for now.  See ya!
