Save the Last Text by Marika Ray and Delancey Stewart

Thank you to Social Butterfly PR for sending me an advanced copy of this book to read and review.

Below are my honest thoughts, which can also be found on my Goodreads

In the third installment of the Digital Dating series, Dalton Cunningham is trying to make a name for himself at the family winery.  In charge of the social media, he has his eyes set on the role of marketing manager. After making a bet with his older brother, Dalton has to get one hundred thousand followers in a month for the position to be his… and he knows just where to start. Raeanne, or Rae for short, is struggling to hold on to her dance students after another studio opens up near her. After seeing one of her TikToks, Dalton tracks her down and pitches her his idea - if they collaborate on TikTok, he can gain followers and her studio can get noticed. It’s the best of both worlds, but they may end up with more than they bargained for.

Like the first two books in the series, this is a light, easy read. The romance is cute and the characters are fun, especially the Cunningham family. While this book focuses on Dalton and Rae, I love the continuation of Boston and Lincoln’s stories as they are mentioned in this one, and I’m excited about the hints that are dropped about Dillon’s story as well.

As a dancer myself, I’ve always been hooked by dance stories, and this one is no exception. I love that Rae is so passionate about dance, and that while he’s not in the same level, Dalton enjoys dancing and is willing to work on it when necessary and step back and admire Rae when his dancing feet aren’t needed. I think the dancing adds a really sweet element to this already lovely romance.

I do think the romance moves along very quickly and almost leaps to the inevitable. Obviously Dalton and Rae are meant to get together so they do that right away.  However, as a reader I was missing some of the build up to their relationship and feel like we didn’t get the chance to watch them fall in love, which is one of my favorite parts of reading romances.  That being said, the writing and the story flow really well and it’s very easy to binge read, maybe because it does feel like the story is moving along quickly.

Save the Last Text, an all new adorable and sweet rom-com from USA Today bestselling authors Delancey Stewart and Marika Ray is now available!

Their dance video--and their love--is about to go viral...

Dalton Cunningham has always been the comic relief in his family. And he's worried they may never see him as anything else, and that they might be right. It might be too late for his father to see Dalton prove himself as an adult capable of helping build the family business, but it's not too late to show his brothers and his mom.

His tool of choice? Social media. He's got the marketing down pat, and when he pulls in a classical dancer to build his brand, things really take off.

The problem? That dancer is Rae Trask, and she doesn't appreciate some goofy hot wine guy stealing her dance videos and making a mockery of them. She's busy trying to save her studio and her dream. Even though no one else seems to believe a dream is something to build a life around.

When Rae and Dalton combine forces, they set the app on fire, and find a little heat erupting between the two of them.

Can they work together to accomplish their goals? And will their spark burn into something much hotter?
